Our store is located at the corner of Mills and Kietzke in Reno, Nevada and offers a wide range of cutting tools & accessories to help complete your projects. We offer cost-effective cutting, sharpening, and tool reconditioning to all of our customers. Our staff is very knowledgeable and are committed to delivering the best service work as effectively as possible. Apex Saw Works invests on the latest machinery and equipment to ensure that your blades stay sharp and extend the tool’s total service life.
Apex Saw Works was established in 1968 and has continued to grow as a family business.
Apex Saw Tool is a local mom and pop hardware store started by the Anderson Family in 1968. Established as a saw blade sharpening shop out of the families garage, the business expanded into retail in the mid 70’s and has been holding strong ever since. In 2016 the family purchased the location at 570 Kietzke Ln and had the building built to expand their business. In 2022 the family opted to sell on a high note and retire, and the business was purchased by a couple of gents from Idaho, whose overall goal is to support the community and honor the Anderson name that has made Apex a staple in Reno.
We offer tool and shop retail focused in carpentry; tool repair, tool warranty, and blade sharpening – from kitchen knives to saw blades, band saws, and chipper blades. We are a fast paced, active business with plenty to do, and a team that genuinely cares about the community and each other.
