Circular Blades - Three Point Inspection Process

Circular Saw Blades are largely used in table and chop saws for cutting metal, wood, and plastic products. Circular blades come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials. We work with all steel and carbide circular blades, cold cutters, bushwackers, 3-wing cutters, dado sets, extruders, slitter, anvils and rotors.

Visual Inspection

The saw blade is first visually inspected for any visible damage, such as chips, cracks, or warping. If any such damage is found, the blade is rejected for sharpening and sent back to the customer for repair or replacement.

Blade Straightness Check

The saw blade is then checked for straightness. This is done by placing the blade on a flat surface and checking for any warping or bending. If the blade is not straight, it may cause uneven cuts or damage to the material being cut. In such cases, the blade is rejected for sharpening.

Tooth Check

The next step is to check the teeth of the saw blade. The teeth are checked for proper alignment, shape, and sharpness. Any teeth that are damaged, chipped, or worn out are either repaired or replaced before proceeding with the sharpening process.
